Inner Quiet and Cp Gains.

Inner Quiet and CP gains.. Remember you start with 1 stack for just using the Inner Quiet buff.. This cp gain comes from Rumination.

Stacks / CP gain / Gain from previous.
1 –- 0 –- NA
2 –- 15 –- 15
3 –- 24 –- 9
4 –- 32 –- 8
5 –- 39 –- 7
6 –- 45 –- 6
7 –- 50 –- 5
8 –- 54 –- 4
9 –- 57 –- 3
10 –- 59 –- 2
11+ –- 60 (max) 1

It is my opinion that somewhere around 5-6 stacks is the "optimal" place to consume the buff and then re apply it.. But only do this on long crafts.. As the additional +control gained is rather nice and should be held onto as long as possible.

Energy Costs / Gains numbes..

We are covering this section first because every action you do that consumes durability has a cost associated with it.

MM1 = Masters Mend Gain: +30 durability CP: 92
MM2 = Masters Mend II Gain: +60 durability CP: 160
WN1 = Waste Not Gain: +20 durability Cp: 56
WN2 = Waste Not Gain: +40 durability CP: 98
MAN = Manipulation Gain: +30 durability CP: 88

MM1 = .326 durability per CP
MM2 = .375 durability per CP
WN1 = .357 durability per CP
WN2 = .408 durability per CP
MAN = .340 durability per CP

Now these numbers help put in perspective how much cost per action your actually encuring. This really applies to things like Hasty Touch and rapid synthisis. The cost per action listed below is based on using all 4 charges for WN1 and only 6 charges for WN2.

Costs per action.

MM1 = 30.667
MM2 = 26.666
WN1 = 28
WN2 = 24.5
MAN = 29.33

of the ones to use Manipulation is the easiest simply use it at 2 and then do what ever.. This paris well with other CP generating abilitys such as confort zone / Rumination and Tricks of the Trade.

Touch Actions 1-3

The below numbers reprsent the base skill unmodified by any thing..

T1 = Basic Touch Efficiency: 100% CP: 18 Sucess: 70%
T2 = Standard Touch Efficiency: 125% CP: 32 Sucess: 80%
T3 = Advanced Touch Efficiency: 150% CP: 42 Sucess: 90%
HT = Hasty Touch Efficiency: 100% CP: 0 Sucess: 50%

T1 % gain per CP: 5.56 %
T2 % gain per CP: 3.75 %
T3 % gain per CP: 3.125 %
HT % gain per CP: This number miss represents..

The below number represent the base skill taking into account the sucess %..

Modified by sucess T1 % gain: 3.888 %
Modified by sucess T2 % gain: 3.125 %
Modified by sucess T3 % gain: 3.214 %
Modified by sucess HT % gain: This number miss represents..

The below numbers represent the skills with sucess taken into account and the application of stead hand (+20% sucess)

% gains with Steady Hand applied (assuming 4 charges out of 5 used).

22 cp cost / 4 = +5.5 cp cost per touch action.

T1 modified by sucess % gain: 3.82 %
T2 modified by sucess % gain: 3.33 %
T3 modified by sucess % gain: 3.15 %

Base action cost + sucess modifcation + Steady Hand assuming WN1 is used.

T1 = 1.74
T2 = 1.90
T3 = 1.98
T3 w/o Steady Hand = 1.92
HT = 2.089 (remember still only 70% sucessfull)

This is just raw Data.. use it how you will.

My personal preffrence for pree 30 stuff (due to my crafting gear etc is this pattern..

Inner Quiet
Steady Hand
WN1
T2
T2
T2
T3
Steady Hand
Rumination
Great Strides
T3
Finish Craft..

This garontees me 100% HQ ingots / bars for steel and below. your sucess will vary.

Another popular way to do this is to simply spam Hasty Touch + Stead Hand and then use Manipulation at 20 durability while always using Tricks of the Trade on good procs.. This allows for a very random but often successful craft of HQ items.. I personally dont like it as its too random for me.
